Campaign reviews

Review and approve campaigns before they go live on your properties.

Campaign Reviews is available to retailers with review permissions enabled. In multi-retailer namespaces, this is the primary retailer team. Contact your Epsilon Retail Media representative to enable this feature.

How to access Campaign Reviews

Navigate to Reviews in the left-hand menu. You'll automatically be filtered to see all campaigns pending your review.

Review status indicators

Campaigns show different status labels based on their submission history:

Re-review

Previously approved campaign that was modified

Resubmitted

Previously rejected campaign that was updated and resubmitted

Viewing campaign details

Click on any campaign to open the details drawer and review the full campaign configuration.

Seeing what changed

When reviewing a resubmitted or re-review campaign, the drawer highlights what changed since your last review. Look for change indicators next to sections that have been modified.

Approving a campaign

  1. Open the campaign by clicking on it in the table

  2. Review the details including targeting, budget, creative, and schedule

  3. Click Approve in the action section

The campaign will move to Approved status and can proceed to go live based on its scheduled dates.

Once approved, the campaign may go live immediately if it's within its scheduled flight dates. Review all details carefully before approving.

Rejecting a campaign

If a campaign doesn't meet your requirements, you can reject it with feedback for the brand.

  1. Open the campaign by clicking on it in the table

  2. Click Reject in the action section

  3. Enter a rejection reason explaining what needs to change

  4. Confirm the rejection

The brand will see your feedback and can make changes before resubmitting.

Updating a rejection reason

If you need to update the rejection reason on an already-rejected campaign:

  1. Find the campaign (ensure you are filtering to rejected)

  2. Open the campaign

  3. Click Reject again

  4. Enter the updated reason

  5. Confirm

Bulk approving or rejecting campaigns

When reviewing campaigns, you can also bulk approve or reject multiple campaigns in one step. This helps retailers move faster, reduce manual work, and keep high-volume ad operations running smoothly.

How to bulk approve/reject campaigns

  • Ensure you are on the Reviews page

  • Filter to the campaigns you want to select

  • Select the campaigns with the checkboxes on the left of the table

  • You will see the Approve All and Reject All buttons above the table

  • If rejecting, you will also need to provide a rejection reason which will apply to all selected campaigns.

Good for large-scale reviews

Understanding campaign statuses

What you see depends on whether you are on the campaign manager or the review page.

What brands see vs. what you see

Active / Scheduled

The campaign manager also dynamically applies statuses based on the campaign's configuration. View Campaign statuses to see all statuses in the campaign manager.

Where else you can approve campaigns

In some setups, you may manage whether to approve or reject campaigns throughout various aspects of the retailer experience. Be aware that changes made since the last submission are visible only on the reviews page.

Campaign Management Options:

  • Campaign Table: Action buttons in each row.

  • Campaign Details Page: Complete campaign overview with approval options.

  • Quick Edit Drawer: Modify campaign details easily.

When viewing the quick edit drawer, you'll see the review status in the pane so that you can understand the approval status.

Tips for success

  • Review resubmissions and re-reviews first: This helps you focus on what changed since your last review.

  • Provide clear rejection feedback: Specific feedback helps brands fix issues faster

  • Check flight dates: Approved campaigns may go live immediately if within their scheduled dates
