# Navigating the campaign wizard

In the new platform, the campaign wizard is streamlined and even easier to use.

## **Key Improvements**

* **Simplified Workflow**: Key stages have been consolidated, making the process faster and easier to navigate.
* **Flexible Navigation**: When editing a campaign, jump directly to any stage without going step by step.
* **Smart Error Indicators**: If an issue is detected in a stage, it’s clearly flagged in red on the top wizard bar for quick resolution.
* **Enhanced Banner X Wizard**: Completely rebuilt with a **side-by-side editor**, delivering a more intuitive and efficient editing experience.

## Wizard stages

When creating or editing a campaign, you'll see the following key stages:

* **Campaign set-up:** defining your overall campaign type, name, and flight dates
* **Products:** select which specific SKUs you're advertising
* **Targeting:** specify any specific targeting criteria on your selected placement
* **Creative:** shown when creating Banner or Banner X campaigns, where creative is uploaded and managed
* **Strategy:** where bidding strategy is defined and finalized
* **Review**: final overview of campaign before submission or updating.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://help.citrusad.com/retail-media-interface/campaign-creation-and-editing/navigating-the-campaign-wizard.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
